I am a non-drinker, non-smoker with no addictions or substance abuse issues ever! I have no criminal history and I enjoy a simple yet satisfying life. I love to read, watch TV, listen to music, games and good conversation. I lean more towards the introverted type but love seeing and learning new things while experiencing life.
I truly want a long-term situation and position where we can both fulfill desired and required needs.
Some of the criteria and information to consider is as follows:
Position will be a full-time, live-in position at the residence (preferably in the Villages or immediate area) of the person(s) requiring assistance.
There will be a minimum of a $35.00 per diem stipend paid to the caregiver.
Room and board shall be supplied as a part of the position.
A cell phone or landline (cell phone if person(s) or family requiring assistance is to travel with caregiver outside of the residence) shall be provided by family requiring assistance. This phone will be used strictly for communications with family members or contacts supplied to caregiver.
Television access shall be required in the living room and caregiver's bedroom.
A complete list of duties and expectations shall be defined prior to acceptance of position.
An exit / termination agreement plan shall be defined to protect all parties in the event of a required or desired termination.
Things to know about the caregiver
Mid 50’s single (no children) female caregiver who is a non-smoker, non-drinker and looking for a full-time live-in position. She has been a caregiver since the age of 18 for her sister.
Caregiver is excellent at following schedules or defined duties instructions to include any desired documentation.
Caregiver is reliable and trustworthy.
Caregiver has a caring nature.
Caregiver has great communication skills.
Caregiver enjoys conversation and companionship.
Caregiver is single, never married and has no children.
Caregiver has no criminal record and has never had any addiction type issues.
Caregiver has an eagerness to learn.
Caregiver can prepare basic meals.
Caregiver is a non-smoker and non-drinker.
Caregiver enjoys watching TV, game shows, old series, soap operas, movies etc.!
Caregiver loves to read.
Caregiver enjoys simple games.
The caregiver has a clean Florida driver's license and a vehicle. If the caregiver's vehicle is going to be used for the person(s) requiring assistance there shall be “per use fees” which will be discussed and defined.
The caregiver has references and can pass any background checks that potential clients may require.
The caregiver can assist with (non-aggressive pets) on behalf of the person(s) requiring assistance.
The caregiver is currently in an active live-in position that will be ending due to a relocation of the family / person(s) requiring care.
The caregiver has minimal personal belongings and possessions that shall relocate to her new position, most of them are bedroom related.
The caregiver is very comfortable with a simple defined lifestyle with regular routines.
I am a friend and acquaintance of the caregiver, and I am very familiar with her lifestyle, abilities and desire to help others. My wife and I have been full-time residents within the Villages since 2005. I will be working closely with the caregiver to find a good fit for all parties involved. I shall be involved in all interviews with interested parties so that we can discuss all aspects of what the family or person(s) requiring assistance will need.
Finding the right people to care for and assist your loved ones can be a difficult task, however I am comfortable with the appropriate amount of due diligence, it can be completed seamlessly. Upon my determining we have what appears to be a good fit, we can schedule a meeting with the caregiver and proceed from there. We are ready to act when the right fit is presented and available.
