This, combined with Vox's well-known hatred of Alastor, is sure to be the primary motivator for making them bigger antagonists to the hotel and their attempts to redeem sinners.

If this pans out, then this will be an excellent way for the show to not repeat the same conflict between Heaven and Hell that was played out in the first season. While it is still ongoing, with Lute clearly trying to manipulate events to make Charlie fail, having the next conflict in the show focus on the dynamic and power plays between the native demons seems the correct way to move forward and potentially expand the show's coverage of Hell and its lore.
