Miley Cyrus shocked fans when photos surfaced showing the singer kissing Brody Jenner‘s ex-wife Kaitlynn Carter hours after a representative announced she’d split from her husband of seven months and partner of 10 years, Liam Hemsworth.

Although sources dish that the “Wrecking Ball” singer and Isn’t It Romantic actor have been separated for some time now, an insider tells Page Six he was not only “devastated” when he saw the raunchy snaps but heartbroken that his ex was publically flaunting her new romance with the TV personality.

“He was heartbroken and blindsided by those photos,”said a friend of Liam’s, referring to the snaps of former Disney star kissingThe Hillsreality star while enjoying a vacation inLake Como, Italy.“They are still married and they really did love each other. She’s really immature and always has been.”

Another source backed up these claims, telling Radar Online that“Liam’s heartbroken, and his family cannot believe she is flaunting this for the world to see.” They also added that the Hemsworth clan think “Miley’s a disgrace”.

Although it’s only been five days since Liam and Miley officially announced they were parting ways, dozens of insiders and unnamed sources have taken sides, with some claiming it was Liam’s excessive partying habits, “drinking” and “drug use” that spelled the end of their marriage, while others say this is just another attempt by Miley to distract from her “infidelity”.

Others claim Miley spent “months” trying to save her marriage to the Aussie star, however they decided to secretly part ways in June. An insider recently told Radar Online that the songstress, 26, begged Liam to go to couple’s therapy, however “he didn’t come close to meeting her halfway”. Yesterday, WHO shared a video from May showing the “Mother’s Daughter” songstress snapping at Liam.In the clip,Liamcan be seen smiling alongside the pop sensation before he jokingly tickles her stomach. Miley, who was visibly angry at the time, took exception to his cheeky gesture, grabbing his hand and forcefully pushing him away.

Although we’re not entirely sure what she said to Liam when she shoved him, it’s clear he got the message loud and clear, quickly walking away as he smiled awkwardly. Miley— who obviously wanted to be the centre of attention— didn’t seem bothered in the slightest that she embarrassed her hubby in front of hundreds of people, shrugging him off as she ran her fingers through her hair and continued posing.

While Miley is yet to address these accusations, Liam broke his silence on August 15, revealing in a heartbreaking post on Instagram that there’s no bad blood between the couple. He also asked fans to respect his privacy during this trying period.

“Hi all,Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward,” said Liam, who met Miley on the set of their movie The Last Song in 2010.

Brody Jenner has also weighed in on his ex-wife’s new love affair, days after friends of the reality TV star saidhehad discussed her relationship with Miley in the past.
