You guys I don't know what to do. My PT told me I DON'T have diastasis recti. I did, and I worked really hard to repair it, now it is only 1 finger separation so my PT (women's health) cleared me and said I don't have it anymore. But I'm 8 months pp and I still look 4-5 months pregnant (with a singleton) and it's so damaging for my self confidence. Does anyone have any tips or advice? I'm not overweight either, I just look skinny and pregnant.

@Shgirlie,
All the exercises I did to repair my DR were core exercises. I did them literally twice a day every single day. My core has never felt stronger and if I 'contract' I can actually see ab definition. But as soon as I relax I'm back to looking pregnant and I don't understand

I don’t have any advice on physically recovering more- but please be kind to yourself and remind yourself regularly that you grew tiny humans from scratch over the course of 9 months, so of course it’s going to take time to get back to looking like your pre-pregnancy self! I know plenty of women with singletons who don’t feel like their body is back until over a year has passed - and you grew MORE THAN ONE!!! Your body is taking its time to heal, you’ll get there eventually!
